The boar contracting system

SABOR provides facilities for industry to house individually and syndicate-owned boars within the Centre for the purpose of contracted semen collection, processing and marketing. Terms and conditions of boar contracting described within SABOR's Contract, Boar Maintenance, Semen Collection and Processing Agreement. In the event that a syndicated ownership boar is unable to provide the pre-ordered number of doses required at a single collection, SABOR management will advise the client and seek further instructions.

Placing boars at SABOR

To secure boar accommodation at SABOR, prospective contract clients must complete and submit SABOR's CONTRACT BOAR MAINTENANCE, SEMEN COLLECTION and PROCESSING AGREEMENT form. Owners of contract boars within the Centre are charged a once-off boar entry fee, an initial training and semen evaluation fee, and a weekly housing/feeding fee. Semen collection, processing, packing and freight fees are charged to the customer every time the boars are collected.
