A.I. Training
SABOR's committment is to improve the use of Artificial Insemination throughout Australia by holding in conjunction with PIRSA consultants based at the Pig and Poultry Production Institute, Roseworthy Campus, regular training courses in A.I. to industry using fresh semen.
These one-day programs can be delivered at selected regional centres, or on-farm to suit individual producers needs.
Follow-up visits and regular audits of A.I. management on-farm can be provided as a consultancy service through contacting PIRSA's Principal Industry Consultant (Pigs), Graeme Pope on phone 08 8521 2716 or email pope.graeme@saugov.sa.gov.au.

The training course provides a balanced mix of A.I. breeding theory and practice and is considered essential training for pork producers contemplating the implementation of batch farrowing and significant A.I. use.

Foam Tip - Tapered foam end at front and back for gentle insertion and removal. Recessed shaft prevents scraping and irritation of cervical lining. Firm foam, non absorbing for better lock, increased stimulation and prevention of semen backflow and absorption. Can be supplied with or without handle.

Supertip - Sealing ribs to adapt perfectly to the anatomy of the gilt or sow. The long and narrow tip with front opening allows the semen to be deposited deeper inside the cervix. Approx 13cm longer than the Spiral and Foamtip. The long and flexible shaft is ideal for use with a breeding belt. Ideal for bigger sows. Packed singular and are Pre Lubricated. |
